In the second match of the night, the last-place Jamaicans will look to keep their slim Gold Cup dreams alive as they play an El Salvador side that currently stands in second with three points.

This is GianFranco Panizo and I will be providing some commentary from FIU Stadium throughout both matches in the comments section below. Please feel free to follow along here, and as always, you are welcome to share your thoughts and opinions on the matches in the comments section as well.

Red Bulls at New England Revolution: Your Running Commentary

Red_bulls_logoNE Revs

The New York Red Bulls are in Gillette Stadium today to take on the New England Revolution (6pm, MSG) in what has to be considered a must-win game if the Red Bulls are to try and keep their faint playoff hopes alive.

Yes, it is only June 7th, but the Red Bulls are losing more and more ground in the Eastern Conference standings and a loss to the Revs today will bury New York even deeper in the basement.

New England is coming off a comeback victory against D.C. United that came, at least in part, with the help of Major League Soccer's trademark shaky officiating. That doesn't mean the Revs aren't playing better, and the return of Taylor Twellman has New England ready to make a run up the standings.

If you will be watching today's match please feel free to share your own thoughts, opinions and play-by-play in the comments section below.

Enjoy the action.

Soccer Sunday: Your Running Commentary

EPL Logo

Today marks arguably the most important day of the year in the English Premier League, the final day of the season, the last chance for teams to avoid being relegated and avoid losing out on the millions of dollars (er, pounds) that come with life in the EPL.

Four teams are battling to avoid falling into one of the two remaining relegation spots alongside West Bromwich Albion. Sunderland, Hull City, Newcastle and Middlesbrough are all in jeopardy and all four have tough tasks. Sunderland (vs. Chelsea) and Hull (vs. Manchester United) have extremely difficult opponents at home, while Sunderland (at Aston Villa) and Middlesbrough (at West Ham) face daunting road tests.

The EPL relegation race is the marquee event of the day, but just one of many highlights on this busy Soccer Sunday. You have matches in MLS, Argentina and France just to name a few.

If you will be watching today's action please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

The German Bundesliga title race will come to an end today as three teams remain alive for the championship.

Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich and Stuttgart are all alive for the German title and all are in action today in the final matchday of the Bundesliga season. Then you have the relegation race, where Michael Bradley's Borussia Moenchengladbach is looking to avoid the drop.

These are just some of the storylines heading into this Memorial Day weekend Saturday. Whether it's title races in Germany and France, or the Mexican League playoffs, there is something for everybody to watch today.

It is the day after league titles were clinched in England, Italy and Spain, which makes today's slate of games considerably less dramatic than it could have been.

That doesn't mean there isn't more to play for. Whether it's games affecting European spots, or relegation, there is still some good action to take in. Now, if you want to watch a team celebrate a title you can watch Barcelona today, but you're probably better off watching a battle like Atletico Madrid-Valencia.

If you will be watching today's soccer on TV, please  feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

New York Red Bulls at Kansas City Wizards: Match Night Commentary

Kc_wizards_logoRed_bulls_logo

The red-hot Kansas City Wizards are home tonight for a New York Red Bulls squad coming off its first win -- and first two goals not as a result of an own goal -- of the year.

After losing its first two games of the year, the Wizards have reeled off three consecutive victories and currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, two points behind leaders Chicago. After scoring a brace in the final 12 minutes to forge a 2-2 draw with the Fire, Josh Wolff is the reigning MLS Player of the Week, while the Red Bulls will be led by the scoring tandem of Juan Pablo Angel and Mac Kandji, who combined for both goals in a 2-0 win against Real Salt Lake Saturday night.

It is Jimmy Conrad bobblehead night at CommunityAmerica Ballpark (insert your joke here). I will be providing commentary of the match throughout the night and, as always, we at SBI encourage reader feedback, as well.

Sit back and enjoy.

Soccer Saturday: Your Running Commentary

Kaka 1 (AP)

If it feels like there aren't that many marquee games this weekend, it could be because of the international fixture date at mid-week. With World Cup qualifiers and high-profile friendlies filling out an impressive schedule during the week, it looks as though leagues throughout Europe scheduled fewer of the top match-ups you circle the calendar for.

That doesn't mean there aren't good story lines and rivalries today. David Beckham takes the field with AC Milan for the first time since his public declaration that he wants to stay in Italy rather than return to MLS. You also have Peter Crouch leading Portsmouth against his old club Liverpool, as well as a good La Liga tilt between Real Madrid and Racing Santander.

The most anticipated match of the day isn't one you will find on TV when Jozy Altidore should make his debut for Xerez against Albacete. The game isn't scheduled for TV, but the internet tends to provide feeds for matches throughout the world so look for that one and please feel free to share any feeds below.

The full schedule of today's soccer on TV is after the jump. If you will be watching today's soccer action on TV, please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

Soccer Saturday: Your Running Commentary

BarcelonaCelebrates (Reuters)

Hey Valencia, you're up next in the "Can anybody beat Barcelona?" contest.

The Spanish powerhouse thrashed Sevilla last week and will look to add Valencia to the long list of teams that have tried and failed to slow down the most dangerous attack in Europe.

Barcelona-Valencia is just one of several quality matches on Saturday. Inter Milan-Lazo, Manchester City-Fulham and Getafe-Villarreal are some of the other marquee match-ups on a packed day of soccer action on TV.

If you will be watching today's matches, please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.
