It must be Thanksgiving weekend, because there are some tasty match-ups involving the Americans Abroad contingent this weekend.
Michael Bradley and Chievo Verona have one of the marquee games, as they take on AC Milan on Sunday. The Flying Donkeys are on a two-game winning streak in Serie A, but Bradley will need to help shutdown the likes of Robinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic if Chievo is to extend it to three.
Oguchi Onyewu is also involved in a prolific game, as Sporting CP faces Benfica in a battle of Portuguese heavyweights. Second-place Benfica sits just one spot ahead of Sporting CP in the Primeira Liga table, but Onyewu's club could move up to first should it beat Benfica and should league leaders Porto fall to fifth-place Sporting Braga.
Another match worth watching will be Clint Dempsey and Fulham's game versus Arsenal. The Cottagers need to distance themselves further away from the relegation zone, and an upset win on Saturday would be a big result for the club. Should Dempsey find the back of the net in the match, he'd move past Brian McBride as the American with the most goals in the Premiership.
Here is who the Americans Abroad play this weekend:
