The MLS playoffs take center stage this weekend, with the first legs of the conference semifinals on tap for Saturday and Sunday.
Real Salt Lake and Seattle kick things off Saturday night in a highly anticipated clash of league powers, followed by Sunday's triple-header of Los Angeles-New York, Philadelphia-Houston and Colorado-Sporting Kansas City.
There's plenty of eye-catching action overseas as well, as Chelsea and Arsenal do battle in a London derby, and Tim Howard goes up against his former club when Everton hosts Manchester United. Over in Germany, U.S. national team defender Timmy Chandler faces a stiff test when his FC Nurnberg faces Bayern Munich, and in Italy, struggling Inter Milan and first-place Juventus clash in a meeting of traditional powers.
