The draw for the European Championship qualifying playoffs took place on Thursday morning and no country is happier with the results than Ireland.
The Irish, who missed out on the 2010 World Cup after facing the tough draw (and Thierry Henry handball) of France, drew Estonia out of the eight-team pot, giving Ireland the easiest draw in the pot.
The toughest is arguably the Bosnia-Portugal pairing, while Turkey takes on Croatia in another close contest. Czech Republic takes on Montenegro in the final playoff.
The Euro qualifying playoffs kick off on Nov. 11/12, with the second legs taking place on Nov. 15. The 2012 European Championships are being held next summer in Poland and Ukraine.
What do you think of the draw? Happy to see Ireland score an easy path? Can you see Bosnia knocking off Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal?
