The goal-scoring bug that's been going around plenty of Americans abroad caught up with another U.S. national team player.
Eric Lichaj scored his first goal for Aston Villa in Carling Cup second-round play on Tuesday, netting the eventual game-winner in the 80th minute of a 2-0 victory over Hereford. Lichaj's appearance was his first of the season, and Brad Guzan also saw his first minutes of the season in posting the clean sheet.
Lichaj wasn't the only American to score in the tournament on Tuesday, either. Robbie Findley found the back of the net for the second time this season in Nottingham Forest's 4-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers.
What do you think about Lichaj and Findley getting on the scoreboard? Think this will get Lichaj some more minutes with Villa's first team? Do you think Findley deserves another look with the national team?
