American striker Herculez Gomez has developed a reputation in Mexico for stepping up late in matches and delivering vital goals. Pachuca learned this when Gomez played for 'Los Tuzos' last season, and on Friday night Gomez reminded Pachuca what it lost when it sold Gomez to Tecos earlier this summer.
Gomez delivered a 90th-minute game-winning goal to help Tecos down Pachuca, 2-1, on Friday night. The U.S. national team striker came off the bench and delivered a classy finish to complete the Tecos comeback.
