After two years of posturing, negotiating and verbal battles in the press, FC Barcelona and Arsenal have FINALLY agreed to a deal to send Cesc Fabregas to the Spanish champions, Barcelona announced on Sunday.
A press conference is slated for Monday to introduce Fabregas as Barcelona's latest, and biggest, signing of the summer. The deal re-united Fabregas with the club where he came up as a youth player.
For Arsenal, the deal means losing their team captain, but with serious transfer revenue to spend from the sale of Fabregas and expected sale of Samir Nasri, Arsenal is already being linked to a plethora of quality transfer targets, such as Brazilian Jadson, Costa Rican Bryan Ruiz and Everton defender Phil Jagielka to name a few.
What do you think of the deal finally being over? Still don't think Barcelona should have spent so much on Cesc, or do you see him making an impact? Think Arsenal can rebuild in time to avoid a disappointing season?
