For a second consecutive season, Manchester City and Tottenham play in a late-season match with big implications (Fox Soccer Channel, 2:45 p.m.).
Last season it was Tottenham that defeated Manchester City to clinch a place in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in club history. With a repeat result, Spurs would leapfrog Liverpool into fifth place and be in pole position to at least secure a place in the UEFA Europa League.
For Manchester City, a win would clinch a place in the Champions League, as the Citizens would be seven points clear of fifth place with two matches remaining. City will have to do so without Carlos Tevez, at least to start, as he's been named to the bench. Edin Dzeko will start in his place, while Carlo Cudicini replaces much-maligned goalkeeper Huerelho Gomes in the starting XI for Tottenham.
