If there is one American who has flown under the radar despite putting together a solid but quiet season in Europe, it is Carlos Bocanegra.
Bocanegra will end a strong first campaign with St Etienne this weekend when the club takes on Paris Saint-Germain. The match won't hold much meaning for Bocanegra and St Etienne, but it will give them a chance to upset a team vying for a Europa League spot. Should Bocanegra play in the season finale, he'll earn his 34th league appearance for the club currently sitting in eighth place.
Another defender enjoying a strong first season with his new club is Clarence Goodson. The Brondby IF center back scored his second goal of the season on Wednesday (you can see the goal here at the 1:35 mark), and he'll look to put together a solid outing against Sonderjyske in the final game of the season.
While many European leagues have already concluded play, there are still some Americans set to play this weekend. Here is a rundown who the remaining Americans Abroad will be facing this weekend:
Quentin Westberg and Evian Thonon Gaillard play Metz.
