Herculez Gomez is at it again.
A year after Gomez led the Mexican Clausura in goals with 10 for Puebla, the American striker is putting together another strong run of form in the spring, scoring in his second consecutive match in Pachuca's 4-2 loss to Tigres Wednesday night.
Gomez, a second-half substitute, rounded the keeper and finished in stoppage time to chip away at Los Tuzos' deficit. He had scored two goals in his previous match after not scoring at all since September.
Highlights of his latest goal can be found here (skip to 1:57).
Here are a few more stories from around the soccer world:

Carlos Tevez has been ruled out for up to a month with a hamstring injury, one that he suffered in City's loss to Liverpool earlier this week.
Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli are the leading candidates to start up top for Roberto Mancini's side on Saturday.
JAPAN BACK IN COPA AMERICA
After withdrawing from this summer's Copa America in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami that decimated the country last month, Japan has rejoined the tournament field.
The country's FA is notifying CONMEBOL of its decision, and Japan will assume its spot in the group with host Argentina, Bolivia and Colombia.
Spain had reportedly been offered Japan's spot in the tournament, but the Spanish federation turned down the invitation.
BLACKBURN'S NELSEN OUT FOR SEASON
Former D.C. United and current Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing knee surgery.
Phil Jones will slot into his position at centerback as Blackburn, just three teams and three points clear of the drop zone, looks to avoid relegation.
