Is help on the way for Chivas USA?
Chivas USA co-owner Jorge Vergara stated that a transfer between Chivas USA and its sister club Chivas de Guadalajara may be a possiblity.
The owner of Chivas de Guadalajara and co-owner of Chivas USA took in the Rojiblancos 3-2 loss to Sporting Kansas City on Sunday. While speaking at halftime, Vergara offered his support for new head coach Robin Fraser and general manager Jose Domene, but did not rule out a summer transfer from Guadalajara to Chivas USA.
Moves between the two clubs are not uncommon with goalkeeper Sergio Arias and midfielder Francisco Mendoza both currently on loan from Guadalajara. In the past, Guadalajara has sent a number of players to the Rojiblancos including Jesus Padilla and Francisco Palencia.
Should Guadalajara send help north to Chivas USA? Any idea who could join the Rojiblancos?
