If Sepp Blatter wins the upcoming FIFA presidential election, the next term will be his last.
Blatter confirmed at the UEFA Congress that he only wants to serve as FIFA president for four more years. As of now, he only has one challenger for his FIFA throne, Asian Football Confederation president Mohamed Bin Hammam.
Blatter has been FIFA president since 1998, when he succeeded Joao Havelange. The vote for the 2011 election will be held on June 1 in Zurich.
Here are a few more stories from around the soccer world:
For the first time since being involved in a sex scandal ahead of the World Cup that caused shockwaves in English soccer, John Terry will resume wearing the captain's armband for the Three Lions.
England plays Wales in a European Championship qualifier on Saturday, and Terry will take over as captain for the injured Rio Ferdinand.
Terry was stripped of the armband after news of his affair with former England fullback Wayne Bridge's then-girlfriend broke, which eventually caused Bridge to retire from international play. Ferdinand had been England's captain since that time.
J. LEAGUE RESUMING IN APRIL
Japan's J. League has been suspended since early March in the aftermath of the horrifying earthquake and tsunami that shook the country, but the league will resume play on April 23.
All of the games that the league was forced to miss will be made up in July.
QUICK KICKS
Brazilian fullback Dani Alves signed a new deal that will keep him at FC Barcelona through 2015.
Juventus is set to sign Alberto Aquilani to a permanent deal after acquiring him on loan from Liverpool.
Eintracht Frankfurt fired coach Michael Skibbe and hired Christoph Daum to replace him.

Do you think Blatter really means what he said? Hope Bin Hammam (or Grant Wahl) defeats him in June's election? Do you think Terry has earned back the captaincy? Happy to see the J. League returning? Do you think Frankfurt's coaching decision will have a good or bad impact on Ricardo Clark?
