The Cody Arnoux saga is hours away from reaching a resolution.
According to MLSSoccer.com (scroll down the link), Arnoux, the former Wake Forest star, Everton reserve and Vancouver Whitecaps Division 2 forward, has signed a contract with the league and will be allocated to a team through a weighted lottery Friday at 4:30 p.m.
He's not the only player going through the lottery process, though. Chris Agorsor, the 2008 Gatorade National High School Player of the Year who battled injury woes at the University of Virginia, and Korey Veeder, a United States U-20 right back who most recently played for Crystal Palace Baltimore, will have individual lotteries on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
San Jose is not included in any of the three lotteries after winning the lottery for University of California goalkeeper David Bingham about two weeks ago. Odds for the Arnoux lottery have not yet been disclosed by the league.
