The Los Angeles Galaxy and Houston Dynamo have combined for four MLS Cup titles this decade, and one of them will move a step closer to trying to claim Team of the Decade honors when they meet in Friday's Western Conference Final (11pm, ESPN2).
There are plenty of great match-ups to consider. You have Landon Donovan vs. former San Jose teammate Brian Mullan, David Beckham vs. Ricardo Clark, Brad Davis vs. Sean Franklin and Brian Ching vs. Gregg Berhalter just to name a few.
You also have the coaching battle between two-time MLS Cup winners Bruce Arena and Dom Kinnear. These two have never faced each other in the playoffs before and their tactical acumen should make for an intriguing final.
So how did these teams fare against each other this season? The Galaxy finished 1-0-1 against Houston, posting shutouts in both matches.
