The most highly-anticipated match of the English Premier League season is upon us, and so are some truly can't-miss MLS playoff series deciders.
Chelsea plays host to Manchester United on Sunday with a chance to open up a five-point lead atop the EPL standings, while six MLS teams head into action knowing that defending MLS champions Columbus has been eliminated from the post-season.
This weekend's state of top matches features options from throughout Europe, with seven different European Leagues represented in this weekend's SBI Top 10 Matches to Watch.
Here are our picks for top matches to watch, as well as this weekend's schedule of matches on TV:
SBI'S Top 10 Matches To Watch
1. Chelsea vs. Manchester United. Two of the best teams in the world square off in what should be a fast-paced display of top-notch soccer.
2. Los Angeles Galaxy vs. Chivas USA. Arch-rivals playing a winner-take-all playoff game? It doesn't get much better than that.
3. Houston Dynamo vs. Seattle Sounders. Expect some truly high-level soccer from two of the league's most entertaining teams.
4. Atletico Madrid vs. Real Madrid. Atletico being down in the dumps takes a little shine off the Madrid Clasico, but it's still sure to include plenty of great goals.
5. Lyon vs. Marseille. These French powers collide in a true grudge match.
6. Inter Milan vs. AS Roma. Okay, so Roma isn't what it used to be, but this will still make for a great battle.
7. FC Twente vs. Ajax. Dutch powers collide to see which team is worthy of the higher place in the SBI European Club Top 25 (okay, we kid).
8. CSKA Moscow vs. Rubin Kazan. Both teams are coming off impressive Champions League draws against top opponents, and will now collide in a battle of Russian powers.
9. Chicago Fire vs. New England Revolution. Some consider this the most boring of the remaining MLS playoff series, but you can bet the Columbus Crew's early exit has both these teams dreaming of hosting an Eastern Conference Final.
10. Bayern Munich vs. Schalke 04. If Bayern is to have any hope of getting back into the Bundesliga race, it needs a win against a surprising Schalke squad.
