American fans can breathe a little easier over DaMarcus Beasley's most recent knock.
In Rangers' 2-1 victory over St. Mirren on Wednesday, the American international suffered an early injury to his ribs that forced him to be stretchered off the field and taken to a local hospital.
On Thursday, after talks of possible broken ribs, Rangers manager Walter Smith stated that Beasley's injury was deemed to be minor.
"There's no break there for DaMarcus and that's good news, although we're not quite sure at this stage how long he'll be out for," Smith said to Rangers' website.
Beasley, who earned his tenth appearance in the Scottish Premier League on Wednesday, lasted only until the 15th minute before being replaced by Nacho Novo.
What do you think of Beasley's injury? Happy to know he should be ready for the busy U.S. summer? Is he done with the physical SPL after this season? Where could you see him land if he does make a move?
