U.S. national team midfielder Michael Bradley followed up his stellar two-goal performance against Mexico on Wednesday with another solid showing in Germany. The 21-year-old scored the equalizing goal in Borussia Moenchenglabach's 1-1 tie vs. Werder Bremen on Saturday.
Much like his opening goal against Mexico, Bradley took full advantage of putting himself in good position on Saturday as he latched onto a long free kick from teammate Marco Marin and chested home his second Bundesliga goal of the season from two yards out to give Moenchengladbach a 79th minute equalizer just three minutes after Claudio Pizarro scored what looked to be the winning goal of the match.
Bradley returns to action next Saturday when he and Moenchengladbach take on Steve Cherundolo and Hannover 96.
What do you think of Bradley's performance today and his recent run of top form? Do you see him going on a goal-scoring binge similar to last season with Heerenveen? Are you anxious to see him follow up the Mexico game with another strong showing next month against El Salvador? Still amazed that he is just 21?
