David Beckham is REALLY liking his time in Italy.
As if his comments earlier in the week weren't evidence enough, Beckham added some fuel to the growing speculation that he will stay at AC Milan by scoring his second goal in two matches on Wednesday.
Beckham's free kick strike was the only goal for Milan in a 1-1 tie vs. Genoa.
Beckham's performance came with England national team manager Fabio Capello in the stands and Capello must have enjoyed what he saw as the 33-year-old winger enjoyed a strong showing, including this goal:
What happens next? Well, Milan might want to consider making a significantly better offer than the $6.3 million offer originally linked to Milan. Whether MLS will listen, and whether Beckham forces somebody's hand, remains to be seen. It is still unclear what will happen, but Beckham staying in Italy is looking like a stronger possibility by the day.
What did you think of Beckham's performance today? Have you already started thinking about the players LA could replace him with? Can you honestly see a scenario where Beckham actually returns to Los Angeles?
