sounds like they are in a weather delay and will resume at 8AM EST. They are up 1-0 right now.

The rain delay might turn out to be a huge break for Canada, and allow us to regroup and change some tactics. The US were all over us and the outcome didn't look good, but since they've come back we seem to have a little more cohesiveness in the middle. And now we're tied! Yesssssssss!

Thought Tarpley and O'Reilly were playing better than Hucles and Lloyd but the first two stayed on and the last two came off.

I rewound the footage of the winning goal on my DVR, and then played it at 1/15th speed. When the ball was played, she was actually even with the last defender. It looks like she might be off, but that is due to the viewing angle of the camera.

Overall, that was a good game. I don't think Canada are that far below the Americans in terms of the quality of players. It's really the tactical side of the game they need to improve on. They gave the ball away far too many times when they didn't have to.

Andrew are you kidding me? The quality of players between the USA and Canada is wider than the grand canyon. Other than one fantastic strike by your one good player, Canada barely created any attacking opportunities. Canada was dominated for 120 minutes and was lucky that the US has forward who are terrible at finishing or it would have been 6 or 7 to 1.
