This whole labor/prize money issue has kinda soured it for me. Hopefully the games are good so I can get into it again. I'm glad the union called out the league on its bullshit. Lets hope that MLS players can get the full prize money if they win.

for those without telefutura, the games will also be broadcast on live streams from the superliga website, with english commentary:

I didnt know Oswaldo Sanchez played for Pachuca -- I thought it was Calero...

I still wish there was english language TV

Go MLS teams!

Sanchez plays for Santos Laguna, who the Revs will play Sunday night.

For those in the D.C. area, Comcast SportsNet will be airing the D.C. United SuperLiga matches. I'm not a United fan (go Revs!), but hey, soccer on TV. Works for me.

I wonder if the Mexican teams will be full of excuses (like Hugo Sanchez) if they lose-"the field was too bumpy" or "the media put too much pressure on the players"

I hate the Mexican club and national teams because the are such poor losers against US competition.

Everybody is a comedian. I wrote about Calero first before switching to Sanchez and forgot to change the club. My mistake.

you are the professional...

Thanks expat, I was left wondering if I have telefutura or not, but you've made that a moot point.

Also, I went to see my Silverbacks vs. Pachuca this week, and I was thoroughly impressed with their level of play considering I thought it was just the beginning of their preseason, of course I may be wrong. Either way, since I don't really have a favorite MLS team, I'm hoping for good, quality games.

some good early chances for both teams in this DC/Chivas game

Its a bit hard to tell from the mlsnet stream, is it pro DCU or Chivas?

So hey, are the reporters covering MLS really push from an explanation from MLS officers to explain why our players get d-ck if they win? unlike the Mex teams.

IVES, or Anybody! it is ridiculous. 150k, bast-rds.

the lights went out at RFK! Oops.

I always kinda like it when this happens, just for humor. If you notice, I said before that I don't really have a favorite mls team and would be rooting for good soccer, but looking back on that, now I realize, I'm just rooting for the MLS team. It's that classic US vs. Mexico thing, they've got me hooked.

Great shot. Nothing anyone was gonna do about that one.

So Antonio, since Ives is the "professional", what does that make you? The as-shole who talks trash?

Wow Jonny, I did not know how compassion and feelings you had for Ives - All I am trying to do is help the big guy correct his mistakes.
