Good evening folks. We are in Week 14 of the MLS season and tonight features several quality match-ups.
Headlining tonight's schedule of games is the New England-Toronto clash, which pits two of the top three teams in the Eastern Conference against each other. Can New England avoid the home woes that have led to a 3-2-2 record at Gillette Stadium? Can Toronto finally show some quality on the road (TFC is 1-4 on the road this year).
Some other storylines tonight include Chicago looking to snap a three-game losing streak against San Jose, Kansas City looking to snap a seven-match winless streak against a Real Salt Lake side that is unbeaten in five and Colorado looking to snap a four-match losing streak on the road against a Columbus squad that has scored three goals in each of its past two matches.

- Real Salt Lake at Kansas City Wizards, 8 p.m.

I can't wait for Twellman to get back in for the Revs. Cristman is awful and shouldn't be starting for a team that is going to be competitive in the MLS. Once Twellman gets healthy and Gambia finally lets Mansally come back, Cristman should become an after thought for the Revs.

Moreno was taken down in the penalty area - so said the ref. Most people saw him trail his right foot across the leg of a defender and fall over. Either way, GBS knocks in the penalty to the left as the keeper stays in the middle, probably having seen his penalty vs LA last week (straight up the middle).
Columbus starting to get their attack going, and Rogers fans have a lot of raids up the left to watch.

61st - 1-1 now. Labrocca scores it, huge props and assist to Conner Casey, who took a long pass on the right, cut inside while holding off the defender, and hit a square ball for the shot.

Final in Columbus, 2-1 Crew.
Ekpo scored the winner on a classic 'run down the middle and defenders trot along but no one ever tackles the guy with the ball' kinda goal.
Deserved win by Columbus, they were consistently creating dangerous attacks. If Rogers didn't have an off night as far as his finishing and decision making, they coulda had more. 2nd half was attractive soccer by both sides.

i cant wait for RSL to get into their new stadium. I'm not a fan of the squad but it is always nice to see a new team get a SSS. Check out the latest pictures on the website...The Grass and Seats have been installed and it looks amazing!!

Eddie Gaven suffered an injury during the Open Cup match with Chicago if memory serves. It was said that he'd be out several weeks or longer.

Put a 1 in front of that attendance figure for Revs-TFC, and, since i was there, even that seems low. Great crowd, and quality play throughout. Toronto did well to hang in close even as the Revs were so close to running them off the field in the first half. On the other hand, but for a close offside call and some help from the post, it could easily have been 3 or 4 goals for the Revs. Great match.

I'm not sure there is too much of a rush for the Revs to build a new stadium. Kraft built that one and he built it to work for soccer too. Its not good for the Revs, but since he owns it, they aren't paying massive stadium fees to play there.
Of course, a move to the Boston area would be terrific for the Revs, but I don't see it being all too likely.
