Where will you be watching the Champions League final?

Champions_league_final_ap

Tomorrow is the big day. Manchester United vs. Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League final in Moscow. It is one of those events that hardcore soccer fans just can't miss. Whether you are calling in sick or skipping out for a late lunch, I know plenty of you will find a way to watch this match live at a soccer bar or sports bar somewhere.

So here's the question. Where will you be watching the game? If you are watching it at home then don't bother responding. I want to know which places around the country will serve as the best spots to see the Champions League final with a large group of people.

I haven't figured out what I am going to do yet. I will either watch from home and do a running commentary, or I will go into Manhattan and watch it (not sure where yet).

Where will you watch? Share your viewing location below.

Scallywags: 11 St Clair Ave W, Toronto. Great footie bar.

ESPN360.com!

Gotta work...or pretend to work when the game is on.

Curse you Ives! I'll be watching on my tivo. At home. After work. After ignoring the entire internet as best I can for the entire afternoon.

HUGE dilema for me. I work. A part of our office an a different floor has cable TV and I can probably get away with sneaking out for an hour to watch the second half (hopefully it doen't go any longer!) or I could just tape it at home and watch it tomorrow night andpray that nobody blurts out the score or anything.

Probably Lucky Bar in D.C.

I'll be watching my Slingbox feed on my cell phone while stuck in DC traffic between an academic conference and a meeting with a gov't contractor... without sound, of course, b/c I don't have the right headphones for my phone

The Kinsdale Tavern on the UES is really a gem for football matches.

Brewhouse Cafe in Little Five Points, Atlanta.

(boy that sounded waaaaaay more pretentious than I intended... my main point was that I'll be watching whatever I can during a very chaotic work/travel day).

I start work tomorrow, so I'm pretty mad. I'll find a way to watch the game later though the second i get back.

Dewey's Flatiron in NYC, with all the gloryhunting suits.

I took of work so I could go meet my brother at Nevada Smith's tommorow

Coester's, at 631 S Kimbrough Avenue just West of the Missouri State University campus, is the place to catch the game in Springfield, MO. Also home of the KC Wizards games, from Jack Jewsbury's hometown!

Molly Malones in Covington, KY right across the river from Cincinnati. Wonderful atmosphere for any soccer match and plenty of United fans to verbally abuse.

I desperately want to boycott this game, but have a feeling once 2:30 rolls around I will turn the TV in my office to ESPN2. God, I hate both of these teams.

New Caledonia, a Scottish bar in Budapest, Hungary

Fado Irish Pub in Austin

Lucky Bar in DC

or the replay at Summer's in Arlington, VA

@ Rumors in NYC. 8th Ave & 55th St. Low key, but nice, pub. Lots of plasma screens, plus a big screen.

Durkins on Halstead and Diversey in Chicago

One of the best soccer bars in the country...George and the Dragon pub in Seattle!!

Maloney's Uptown Tavern, Atlantic City NJ

There's a game tomorrow? Oh, you mean the USA - Turkey match - Tournoi Toulon. Got it.
Haven't gotten that far yet.

Spike Hill in Brooklyn.

Either the Chatham Tap on Mass. Ave or The Union Jack Pub in Broad Ripple. Both in Indianapolis. Excellent Soccer Bars.

MacDinton's Irish Pub, Tampa.

Fado's Irish Pub in Annapolis

Brew House, Little 5 Points Atlanta

Are we seriously still gonna have to wait 2 years til its on saturday. On that day in 2010 the viewership around the world will dwarf the superbowl, and will probably still be carried on the "OCHO" in the US

Being a broke college student, i have to work in the summer, so me and a few co-workers are gonna sneak off and watch it on ESPN360.com

The Bear's Lair pub in Berkeley, CA. Rocking the Gerrard Jersey to represent a real club.

If I cared about the teams (and weren't going on vacation next week) I might've joined you at the Brew House. In lieu of that, I'll watch it dvr-delayed at home.

Kiwi & Kangaroo- Seattle, WA

You really want to know? OK. I'll tell ya. I'll be trying to watch it while getting chemo. I couldn't change the appt. C'est la vie.

Mr. Dennehy's, Carmine Street, NYC

npollock - hope all goes well...

Unlike my other Seattle friends who will be at popular locations, I will be at my little hidden gem, Finn MacCool's on the Ave. Never too crowded, three large screens = soccer bliss.

either Buffalo Wild Wings in louisvile CO or at the Dick with the Rapids!

def. at the playright in south beach, Miami, its a great atmosphere anyone in miami should check it out its for real soccer fans

Ives,

What do you think. ManU is 4-5-1 in Europe:

---------VDS--------------
Brown--Vidic-Ferdinand-Evra
----Carrick---Hargreaves---
Ronaldo---Scholes---Rooney
--------Tevez---------

Sh!t Box, a bar in Costa Rica

At the Fox Sports bar in Seattle

Nine Irish Brothers in West Lafayette, IN

Not that I really care about either of the teams, but as far as excuses to take a long lunch and drink a beer in the middle of the day, that's a pretty good one.

Nevada Smiths NYC

Houston, TX

I work in the front office of the Houston Dynamo and the powers that be have been gracious enough to order in some pizza pies, shut down operations during the game and show it on our flat screen in the conference room. Glory, Glory Man United!!!!!!! United 1-0. Tevez with the goal.

skybox restaurant in salt lake city,UT
go united!!!! beat the hell out of chelsea!

Kezar Restaurant and Pub in San Francisco with my cousin. We are both taking the day off from work to watch the game.

I don't know how it will happen, but I predict Shevchenko will save the day for Chelsea.

Somewhere downtown in Greenville SC. I hope I can find some footie fans for company. Failing that, it's back to the hacienda.

Go you Chels.

Las Vegas - Crown & Anchor Pub

swifts 4th st NYC
