Fantasy MLS is back
With Major League Soccer less than two weeks one day away from kickoff it is time to start thinking about Fantasy MLS get your Fantasy MLS team ready.
The second season of the SBI Fantasy MLS League is set to kick off and all SBI readers are welcome to take part. All you have to do is sign up for the MLS Fantasy Challenge at http://fantasy.mlsnet.com. Once you have created an account you just look up the SBI Fantasy League and join the league. I don't think there is a limit to the number of teams we can have. Last year we had more than 270 teams (and this year we're up to 289). Just try to use your real name for the log-in. I plan on awarding prizes during the year so I want to have the real names of the people behind the winning teams.
If you plan on joining the league let us know in the comments section below. Also, feel free to share your experience from last year's league, which was extremely competitive.

I'm joining. I wasn't in the SBI league last year, but was top 10% among all players in MLS fantasy. Team name is Pittsburgh Saint-Germaine. Does the scoring of the bench players count?

Cerveza Biela FC this year. Last year I got pimp slapped back to Ecuador in the first half of the season, but finished strongly. I'd say most people who join end up coasting after about week 3, while the rest of the league is ultra competetive. The system should really award teams somehow for the sale of any of their players though, that'd be sweet.

Good luck getting people to use their real names Ives, apparently that is extremely hard to do.
I'm in, Hub City FC will be my team. But I'd like to bitterly say just how terrible this version of fantasy soccer is, because I am just a really nice guy who never complains about anything.

I was the winner last year of th SBI league. I came in 21st overall(won a game ball!), and came in 2nd in the second half of the season overall(won a Red Bulls jersey!). I'm back for another year----Hub Tiger fc

Last season was the first season I actually followed MLS closely and didn't know much about league rules and much of the players. Now with a year's experience, all y'all are in TROUBLE.

To JMiller: yup, MFLS is free. At least it was when I created my team a few weeks ago. I think leagues are limited to 24 teams each though. Perhaps SBI 1 through ?

Yeah, I had that same problem. You just have to use anothe email to create another team. if you have more than one email already it only takes like 5 minutes. The dissapointing thing is you have to manage two teams, but you can try different things and strategies at least.
