Beckerman with a near miss assist there…

  2. argh says:

is he really 5’9? wasn’t there a Mexican goalkeeper during the world cup who was 5’7 or 5’8? though that’s kinda TALL for them

it’s weird cause we’re so used to 6’2-6’3 goalkeepers. Iker Casillas is 5’11 and 1 of the best in the world

I think you are refering to Jorge Campos, who also played for the Galaxy and Fire. If you don’t know him, look him up. Was an amazing goalkeaper, showman, PK taker and forward. I loved it when he would switch to forward at the end of the game.

I really wish Rimando would have had a huge save on Will Johnson. Not only does he throw a tantrum every time his teammates take a shot rather than pass it to him, he proceeds to publicly berate them for it after the game. Not exactly behavior I want out of a captain.

It has appeared that Big Willie Johnson has lost his mind at certain times. Locker room upheaval in PDX in 3….2….1…..

We expect more from him as captain.

My first “Save of the Season” candidate.
