SiriusXM to carry live coverage of MLS playoffs

Watching television will not be the only way to catch the MLS playoffs this season.

MLS announced on Thursday that its playoffs will take to the airwaves this year courtesy of Sirius XM Radio. The satellite radio station will offer its subscribers nationwide extensive coverage of the upcoming MLS playoffs and there will be live play-by-play for all the postseason games, including the MLS Cup final on Dec. 7,

The games will be aired on SiriusXM’s dedicated soccer channel, SiriusXM FC, on channel 94. The full schedule can be seen here.

    I have been wanting MLS on XM for a long time. This is great to hear. Every time I end my membership I always mentioned lack of MLS content. Now I would like to get some talk shows with MLS content. Heck even if they would just pick up a few of the local club teams weekly shows.
