In a crucial match that had not only playoffs implications but also the all-important Cascadia Cup title in the balance, Camilo Sanvezzo did everything he could to help lift the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The Brazilian midfielder scored two goals including a spectacular scissor-kick goal to tie the game a second time, just a couple minutes after scoring on a free kick to level the scoreline, which ended in a 2-2 tie with the Portland Timbers. Camilo’s brilliant performance on Sunday earned him SBI MLS Player of the Week honors.

Camilo beat out Landon Donovan, Tim Cahill, Ricardo Clark, and Sean Johnson for this week’s honors.

What did you think of Camilo’s performance? Which player stood out to you in MLS Week 32?

Tough call, but I’d vote for Sean Johnson.

Camilo’s goals were great but he should have been sent off for that foul on Nagbe that was easily a second yellow card.

Anybody that watched the Galaxy beat down on the goats know the real star yesterday was Zardes! Man, was he a handful down the left side. His effort led to the first three Galaxy goals.
