For the first time all season, there wasn’t any movement in the top four spots in the SBI College Soccer Top 25, but surprising results continued to be a popular theme as the rest of the Top 25 underwent a major shake-up.

William & Mary makes its debut in the rankings after posting a third straight victory against a highly-rated opponent. The Tribe defeated Elon and North Carolina a week after knocking off Creighton, all three victories being the only defeats on the records of those three opponents.

UCLA’s roller-coaster season continued to fluctuate, as the Bruins followed up a loss to UC-Irvine with a convincing 4-2 victory against Cal-State Northridge. Northwestern pushed their unbeaten streak to six matches to crack the Top 10.

Another team new to the rankings is unbeaten UMBC, which registered their most impressive victory to date in beating George Mason on Wednesday to break into the Top 25. The Retrievers and Dayton remain the only teams with perfect records in the 2013 season.
