In his first league match with the Los Angeles Galaxy since returning from international duty, Landon Donovan proved that he’s at the top of his game for club as well as country.

Donovan scored three goals on three shots in the Galaxy’s draw with FC Dallas on Saturday, a performance that has earned him a place on the SBI MLS Best XI for Week 24.

Making his first start at BC Place, Vancouver Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted had himself a Man of the Match performance, keeping a clean sheet in the Whitecaps strong victory over the San Jose Earthquakes. Four players, Columbus Crew forward Federico Higuain, FC Dallas striker Blas Perez, Sporting Kansas City forward Kei Kamara, and Philadelphia Union forward Conor Casey, each scored a brace on Saturday as well.
