The SBI Show: Episode 26 (with special guest Peter Vermes)

Peter Vermes

By IVES GALARCEP

It has been a pretty good month of April for Peter Vermes.

The Sporting Kansas City head coach was elected to the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame for his impressive playing career earlier in the month, and in recent weeks Sporting KC has put together a five-match unbeaten streak and shutout streak to climb into first place in the MLS Eastern Conference.

Vermes is our guest for Episode 26 of The SBI Show, and the former U.S. Men’s National Team veteran discusses his playing career, the current season for Sporting Kansas City and much more.

Co-host Garrett Cleverly and I discuss the exploits of Americans Abroad, and we take a closer look at MLS Week Eight.

Give the show a listen after the jump:

What did you think of the show? Impressed with Vermes? See him being a U.S. Men’s National Team coach one day? Agree with our MLS Week Eight picks?
