Third day of the Combine and Still the NYRB does not have a coach,it is an insult to the soccer
fans, as a NYRB season ticket holder I believe management thinks we are idiots, they are going nowhere this year again and the fools(bureacrats) in Austria will keeping calling the shots
from there without knowing how is overhere, now I understand why Bruce Arena did quit on them
he knew this organization was going nowhere as long as they have an absentee owner as well as
    will happen to Chivas.

“SOmething to note on Erik Hurtado, one of the top forwards here. There has been plenty of talk about how he is also a winger. The reality is he can play as a wide forward in a 4-3-3, and as a second striker in a 4-4-2, but anyone projecting him as a right winger in a 4-4-2 is mistaken. It’s not really a position that suits him.”

I think this is a false “note” on Hurtado since I have had the opportunity to watch him on several occasions throughout the years. At Santa Clara, he has played in a 4-3-3 system over the past four years; however, Hurtado, in my opinion, would be suitable to play in a 4-4-2 system as well. Hurtado is a dynamic player with the ability to dribble at defenders, lay of great passes, help compose his team, as well as hustle back on defense, or be quick to jump in on offense. He has got a rocket for a shot and playing winger would make it extremely difficult for his opponents to know how to defend him. I think that would the wrong generalization to make about Hurtado while only watching him play in two games.

It warms the cockles of my heart that you find MLS so distasteful, yet, find time to follow it. A significant step to relevance is HATE! Go You!

I though Ashton Bennett was not good today. He missed a sitter should have done better with a one v one with the keeper and was just overall very wasteful with chances. Did however have a nice assist but I was disappointed in his performance.
