Love the site redesign, but you probably want to get rid of the autoplay video ads on the right when you’ve got a video post.

    • Ives says:

Not everybody is seeing those ads, and I actually haven’t seen them. Which box on the right are you seeing them in?

    Getting psyched for the game!
Need some help!!! Am in South San Francisco (Burlingame) on a biz trip from DC and need suggestions where I can catch the game. Was planning on watching it on first row sports dot com but looks like the site has been seized by the authorities. Oh well….

  3. Colin in MT says:

wait, what? the players are responding rationally to this epic crisis? they have confidence that their teammates can step up and get a result against A&B?

don’t they know how incompetent their coach is? haven’t they realized how his tactics have made us a much worse team? don’t they know they’re missing players who they absolutely can’t win without? haven’t they looked back at the history of us qualifying and seen what a cake-walk it’s always been before? they aren’t still focused on that embarrassing Jamaica loss? why aren’t they pointing their fingers at sunil for putting them in this situation?

it’s so obvious to everyone who is not on the team how screwed they are. i just wish these players would realize what we all already know; this game is out of their hands and they should be panicking

dot com was seized. dot eu was not….

  5. Kar says:

Looking at the field behind them, I wonder if JK should call up some replacements from our beach soccer team …

  6. Crazy Fan says:

Right. Thanks! Looks like it doesn’t work on the iPad so if anyone can suggest a spot in Frisco that would be great!

    • leftcoastmetro says:

As Eric mentioned, Kezar Pub (at Stanyan and Waller in the Haight) or Danny Coyle’s (Haight and Pierce) will definitely show it in SF. Mad Dog in the Fog (near Danny Coyle’s) probably will too. Pleanty of other bars probably will, but those are the safest bets.

    • leftcoastmetro says:

And in a pinch, you can try the Veetle app for iPad – you’ll have to poke around but you’ll probably find a stream in there.

  7. Matthew says:

I think The Londoner in frisco will show the game.

  8. beachbum says:

weather looks fine at the field from live look in at Chile-Ecuador halftime.

They showed a formation with Fabian as left mid and Cameron starting at LB, Gomez and Demps paired up top in a 4-4-2

  9. andrew in Tally says:

#USMNT starting lineup: Howard; Cherundolo, Goodson, Cameron, Bocanegra (c); Zusi, Williams, Bradley, E. Johnson; Dempsey, Gomez #

    • Smacking says:

Probably the best, most attacking available, but I worry about our lack of width. Knock in a couple early to ease the tension please.

Has Ives posted the starting line-ups yet? Because this is the latest post I see.
