Everton and Liverpool are fierce rivals, but the neighbors share a unique bond not fond among all rivals. That much was evident on Monday, when Everton paid tribute to the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy before Monday's match at Goodison Park against Newcastle.

As opposed to when Suarez racially abuses people, or when ownership overspends on useless players like Carroll, Downing, and Adam, or when they put in a lowball offer for Dempsey, or when they don’t bring in the necessary players in the transfer window?
