Studio 90 Extra Time: Post-Game with Carli Lloyd
This entry was posted in U.S. Women's National Team. Bookmark the permalink.

Carli Lloyd is the only member of the 2007 WWC team (outside of Hope Solo) whom I respect. She was the only one who stood by Hope and tried to encourage her when the rest of the “team” (led by Kristine Lilly and Abby Wambach) tried to destroy her by shunning and isolating her following Hope’s remarks about Brianna Scurry (btw, Hope was *right*). I will never support the WNT until every player from 2007 (except Hope and Carli) retires from international play (especially Wambach, who, as far as I’m concerned, is a total bitch).
oh boy
if I recall, I blame the coach for handling all of that like an amateur, dividing his squad like that.
great interview. Do it Carli
