Can’t see it on my phone but I’m gonna say meh, I’ve seen better.
What about his second though? Which was better?
Shouldn’t even be playing.
Not gonna give you any “is that REALLY a must-see?” grief for this one.
that was a sweet shot.
Waaaaa
But it’s ‘Soccer City USA’ right? Just ask those twaughts in Portland.
Huh? We all hope Palmer saw his last game in the starting 11.
And a fair portion of the crowd cheered Beckham’s late sub.
bring it on galaxy haters, its just hilarious. you all bitch about beckham week in week out and then turn around after the game and buy his underwear and jerseys. lol, you fools
awwww, poor baby
Can’t see it either. Right part of the video is cut off. No option to expand or even to see David Beckham take the shot. Just see ball fly toward net.
The first was much better. The second is off a free kick, but the GK’s positioning is terrible. He’s so far off to the right of the goalmouth that he’s basically inviting Beckham to put it anywhere in the left half. (And it’s not like he can’t know that Beckham’s made a career out of hitting that shot!) Good placement by Beckham, but the GK basically took himself out of that play.
When the shot comes from off-screen–not bad.
Montero’s goal against LA was way better
mls please do US Soccer a favor and take becks ba!!$ of your chin. he was good now he’s maybe in the top 10 in mls. for the most part he’s a punk that rarely plays to his ability and only scores on free kicks or long range. wondo should have won the award at the ESPYs. not that it matters but just saying there were aloud mite players in mls that should have been ahead of beck.
Bitter much? You may be right that he’s “only” a top 10 player now, but you can’t impugn his level of effort. The dude hustles. ESPYs, really? Settle down, beavis …
Yeah, this embed is messed up.
I’m not a Portland fan. I’m also not a fan of MLS’s unequal brand of justice.
