    Gspurning sucks

  2. OUCH! says:

A complete thrashing. That wasn’t a soccer game, that was a prison rape.

  3. MTs says:

what a bunch of suckers seatlle LOL. Portland is very very happy I think LoL.

  4. MTs says:

    Fire fat man LOL!

  5. torporindy says:

    I hope Klinnsman was watching…

  6. RB says:

Wow, the Sounders looked even worse than the Rapids did in their 4-1 (?) drubbing at the hands of Santos last fall.

Did Gomez get up limping or rather stiff after his second goal?

  7. Adam says:

He had to be subbed out and his knee was bleeding. Hopefully no ligament damage.

  8. Trent says:

It looked like the defenders were out of shape. They took a swipe at the ball, got beat, and then watched them score.

  9. MLS fan says:

The mexican league is the EPL of Concacaf and MLS is the championship league. MLS has a lot of growing to do.

  10. marco says:

I agree, and they had two months to prepare.

  11. marco says:

Sounders had weaknesses going into pre- season that needed to be addressed. They haven’t solved the problems yet although pundits glossed over them. Sounders needed another striker and improved FB play, they’ve solved neither. Sigi not pulling back a winger to help the slow Leo was cruel and criminal.

The good news is that USA Herculez Gomez is perhaps the best in-form striker in the tournament, and Klinsmann should bring him into the next camp.

  12. Chris says:

no..the Mexican league is the EPL and MLS is like Norway….like Manchester United vs Valerenga

  13. OmarVizquel says:

Any team that steps onto the field wearing jerseys like that deserves to lose by at LEAST five goals.

  14. RB says:

    Yikes. Hopefully not.

    Thanks for the info.

  15. Soro says:

Agreed, the 1st, 2nd and 5th goals were disgraceful. After watching the first two go in, any team would sag.

  16. marco says:

Sigi is not getting the credit he deserves for this match. Yes the back-line was horrid, yet at 3-3 ag, Sounders could have stole a result. At that point Sigi needed to provide defensive help, through subs, or numbers, but didn’t do either. He left Leo more exposed than a Kim Kardashian home video. Probably not Sigi’s fault but with two months to prepare, one could expect players in better condition. As a Sounder fan I hope the EJ trade is the last action taken by GM Hanauer.
    Vote him out, this year.

  17. Ski Fast! says:

No, it’s more like the German Bundesliga vs. the Dutch Eredivisie.

  18. g? says:

No, it’s more like the Danish 1st division against Serie C1.

  19. g? says:

Yeah. How DARE we lose to the first place team in Mexico. We got there by being pretty successful? DOESN’T MATTER FIRE EVERYBODY!!!!ONEONE!

Chill. Sigi and Hanauer are doing JUST fine. Typical Seattle sports fans-fire the successful coach as soon as you have an excuse. Continuity? Who needs it!

  20. marco says:

“Typical Seattle sports fans-fire the successful coach” I said vote out Hanauer.
Sigi is not the GM. Poorly twisted like Leo’s feet.

  21. SuperDan says:

Boy do I hope that isn’t the Freddy Montero who’s going to show up this year. He was awful, awful, awful.

  22. JJ says:

I’d rather be sad and playing than happy with my thumb in my butt.

  23. Matthew says:

How is it that you can’t watch porn on youtube, but rape is okay?
