With the transfer window shut, teams across Europe are moving forward with their new parts in place.
Queens Park Rangers' newest signings Djibril Cisse and Taye Taiwo are in the starting lineup for the club's match at Aston Villa, which has Robbie Keane in the starting lineup and Americans Brad Guzan and Eric Lichaj ready on the bench.
Bolton added a few new pieces during the transfer window as well, but one of them, former New York Red Bulls centerback Tim Ream, won't be making his debut against Thierry Henry and Arsenal on Wednesday when the two teams lock horns at Reebok Stadium. Henry is on the bench to start out as he enters the final month of his brief loan to his former club.
Elsewhere in notable matches, AC Milan and Lazio are two teams on Juventus' heels in Serie A, and the two do battle in a high-profile match with table implications in Italy. In Spain, Barcelona returns to action in the Copa del Rey. Fresh off eliminating Real Madrid in the quarterfinals, Barcelona travels to Valencia for the first leg of the semifinals.
If you will be watching any of Wednesday's games, please feel free to share any thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below. Enjoy the action (TV schedule is after the jump)

Your old #7 is waiting for you Robbie! Just dont get hurt, please
dude why did Buddle sign with Galaxy? He should have looked and found a club in Turkey or Greece or Holland
Come on Dempsey. You are the only thing keeping Fulham from relegation
I guess the US isn’t so bad after all…Welcome home, Edson!
Are people following what just happened in Egypt? Crazy…

Henry vs Tim Ream???? Lol
And what were those teams that were offering him a contract?
Wow. I hope those are overestimates.
Wow, Al-Ahly was that team that just played in the Fifa Club World Cup
Wow!! Frazier Campbell!! One of the goals of the season!!
Who is that awful Scottish or English announcer calling the Bolton v Arsenal game. I can barely stand to listen to that man. It’s not just how he’s saing it, it’s what he says. The worst sports announcer of any sport, next to Taylor Twellman’s partner, whats his name PErez on Espn3, he is simply atrocious.
Haha Puyol with back to back spin moves around defenders. I hope I see that again, that was hilarious and awesome.
Dempsey… just getting it done…
Dempsey does it again…kids on fire!
I hear that President Obama is selecting Clint as his VP for the election. Obama-Dempsey for 2012. who’s got their support?
Amen to that.
This Valencia game has gotten out of hand. More and more teams are resorting to the, “we can’t stop Barcelona by playing so let’s just injure them” defense.
Yeah its the other teams fault riiiiiiight?
Yeah it’s Barcelona’s fault that they get cheap shotted and seriously fouled, maybe they should just give the ball to the other teams?
You sound like those idiots who blame women for being assaulted. Grow up.
CLINT DEMPSEY
just stare at the name. LOOK AT IT. HE’S THE MAN!
Thanks for saving me from writing a lengthy reply.
Whitbread was slow to close down space on the first two goals for Sunderland. The third he was out of the play behind. A terrible display from the entire Norwich back line and picking out Whitbread would be a bit harsh, especially on the first one which was part wonder strike part John Ruddy.
LOVE IT!!!
Except Dempsey isn’t 35.
Obama can pull some strings
It’s sad to see it. Maybe if the Valencia FO weren’t so inept, they wouldn’t be so far in depth and they’d have been able to hold onto players like Villa, Silva and Mata who could actually keep them competitive with Barca.
*so far in debt
Of course, it’s Valencia’s fault. Who in the world do they think they are blocking a penalty shot from the world’s greatest player. Valencia goalkeeper is a fricking jerk. He should have walked over to the side and left the goal wide open for Messi to tap in the winning goal instead of blocking. the goalkeeper is mean and doesn’t play fair.
