UConn holds onto top spot in Fox Soccer/SBI NCAA Top 25

UConn had a bit of a scare, but still managed to maintain its hold on the top spot in the latest Fox Soccer/SBI NCAA Top 25.

The Huskies posted an impressive victory over St. John's last weekend, but nearly ruined their perfect record against Yale, but avoided the upset courtesy of a last-minute overtime game-winning goal.

Maryland remains hot on UConn's tail for the top spot, and could make a real case for the No. 1 seed with a win against unbeaten Creighton tonight.

SMU returned to the Top 25 on the strength of an impressive road win against UCLA, while Bradley also cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season.
