It seems nothing can stop FC Dallas' current free fall.

Having been beaten in its last three games, Dallas was once again on the losing end on Wednesday night, falling 5-3 on the road to Panamanian club Tauro FC in a wild CONCACAF Champions League match that saw three red cards and two penalty kicks.

FC Dallas had Jair Benitez and Fabian Castillo sent off in a second half and surrendered three goals to substitute Marcos Sanchez in the final 13 minutes.

Playing without Brek Shea (suspended), FC Dallas fell behind early as Luis Moreno scored 12 minutes in. Moreno hit a well-placed shot that rolled passed Kevin Hartman and found the far corner of the net.

Moreno went from hero to villain, as nine minutes later he was called for a foul on Ruben Luna in the penalty area. Benitez stepped up and converted the ensuing spot pick, equalizing with a low effort to the left.

FC Dallas' happiness was shortlived, though. In the 33rd mintue, Auriel Gallardo got on the end of a corner kick and headed the ball down and towards goal. The ball took a bounce before hitting off the far post and rolling into the back of the net.

Dallas searched for an equalizer, but the 59th-minute ejection of Benitez for dissent proved costly. Tauro, which was winless in the competition prior to Wednesday's game, was able to exploit the extra space and that's when the Sanchez show began.

Sanchez finished off three different passes from Victor Medieta, including a fine chipped effort in the 77th minute.

Before Medieta's final goal, Dallas made it 4-2 when Luna hit a hard shot from the left side of the penalty area.

Luna scored the final goal of the game on a penalty kick near the death after Carlos Rodriguez was shown the red card for a foul inside the 18 yard box.

FC Dallas can advance to the quarterfinals with a win against Toronto FC on Oct. 18. Dallas can also advance with a tie and a Tauro draw or loss against Pumas.
