It's a make-or-break night in the CONCACAF Champions League for Toronto FC. If TFC can't come up with a home victory over Panamanian side Tauro FC at BMO Field, then the Reds face an extremely difficult uphill battle in their remaining two Group C games. A win, however, would put Toronto in a decent spot moving forward.
Seattle, meanwhile, can improve to 4-0 in CCL play and potentially clinch a spot in the knockout stage by taking care of business against Herediano for the second time in as many weeks. After claiming a victory in Costa Rica last week, the Sounders welcome their opponents to the boisterous CenturyLink Field. Here is the viewing schedule for the night's CCL matches:
8 p.m. – Fox Soccer Channel/CONCACAF.com stream – Toronto FC vs. Tauro FC
8 p.m. – Telefutura/CONCACAF.com stream – Monterrey vs. Comunicaciones
10 p.m. – Fox Soccer Channel/Telefutura/CONCACAF.com stream – Seattle Sounders vs. Herediano
If you will be watching any of Tuesday's CONCACAF Champions League matches, please feel free to share any thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below. Enjoy the action.

The CONCACAF feed for the Toronto game is failing me… dam* you, Jack Warner!
Toronto still leading 1-0 in the 84th minute.
Comunicaciones just tied it up against Monterrey, 1-1 in the 85th.
and Monterrey retakes the lead in the 87th
and apparently it was actually 2-1 and not 1-1 before, whoops. so 3-1 in the 87th.
Bad feeling about this free kick in the TFC game at the whistle
Full time:
Toronto 1-0 Tauro
Monterrey 3-1 Comunicaciones
And TFC gets away with the stupid foul after all. TFC wins 1-0. Good result for MLS.
So, for the moment, Group C:
Dallas, 7 pts, 3 games
Toronto, 6 pts, 4 games
Pumas, 4 pts, 3 games
Tauro, 2 pts, 4 games.
Dallas/Pumas 8 PM tomorrow
and Group D:
Seattle, 9 pts, 3 games
Monterrey, 6 pts, 4 games
Comunicaciones, 6 pts, 4 games
Herediano 0 pts, 3 games.
Seattle/Herediano in about 5 minutes
Sounders look very poor first 15 minutes. Not much energy, back line and the central mids very poor.
Jacqua
skyball from around the spot
1-0 to Herediano, 25th minute. Beautiful free kick.
if Seattle can sneak in a goal off the counter before half it would be a big bonus. Coach Sigi may need to insert a couple of his playmakers in the second half; they look very un-Sounder like right now
I have no vid access. Thanks for the updates guys.
Is must say something good about MLS that one of the worst teams in the league can compete in the CCL.
like that right there, delayed counter, the space is there, and it forced a bad tackle just outside the area for a yellow card too
let’s see if thye convert
No…Noonan just over the bar, but good strike
Seattle doesn’t look too motivated today. Actually a little strange since this is a B team for them and you would think most of these guys would play with a little more energy.
just don’t know if Seattle has the palyers on the field to play the way they typically want to play. doesn’t mean they still can’t win though
Sounder fans get your money back. Worst performance of the year. No energy, no skils, no interest. Sigi sub the entire eleven.
the lineup lacks creativity in the middle and up top. This is what happens when Montero, Rosales, Friberg, Fernandez and even Alonso are all taken out. Big step down.
no doubt. gonna have to play a couple of them here. all still within reach at the half
Montero on in 56th, and Alonso
while Herediano appears to have parked the bus…last thrust there by them included exactly one player
Jacqua
wild blast from just outside the area when he had the time, after excellent build up and midfield play from Montero
jacqua and noonan are just GOD-awful!! i don’t even think they should b in this league let alone playin for the sounders
When a player is poor that’s on him. When an entire side is poor that’s on the coach. Sounders played for most of the game as if they were the away side.
Toothless in Seattle with Noonan, Neagle and Jacqua up top, even after Montero and Alonso came on to take over the game and the midfield
Man of the Match is the keeper Cambronero for sure. He played great
Except that disgraceful showing at the end. Just get on your feet a see the game out. Absolutely no place for that in soccer or any sport for that mater.
That was a pretty surprising result for the Sounders. Expected them to at least grab a point. Good on TFC for snatching the win. Tomorrow my LAGs will bring MLS another 3 points. Everywhere that we go the people wanna know whos in blue white and gold…Galaxy!
agree 100%. cheers
He played great in that he only had to make save
he made play after play as I recall
All the games are starting to catch up to Seattle as CCL usually starts to wear teams down resulting in a drop in league play. Still the Sounders are doing well but clearly coach wanted to give a night off to his most important attacking players and only inserted Montero and Alonso when the rest of the team showed little initiative.
Everyone expected way more from Jaqua in the air against Herediano. of course Noonan’s crosses were for a someone taller than Jaqua, perhaps someone the size of Goliath.
Squandered opportunity by the Sounders to wrap up a place in the knockout round against a Herediano team on the brink. Instead of coming out with a killer instinct they were listless.
A win would have allowed them to focus on MLS. Now they have to play difficult games against Communicaciones in Guatemala, and then Monterrey at home. The Sounders could still very well be eliminted without points in one or more of those games.
The good thing is “all the games catching up to Seattle” should be over with that game alone. Everybody got a rest. We still sit on top of the group. Rolling in league play. This is a very small hiccup. Forget about it and move on … and drop Noonan and Jaqua ASAP.
Agree completely unfortunately!
