Any ideas why Richards was pitching inside so much during the game? Was it by design?
It seemed that he was crowding the center and was nowhere to be found out wide in a couple of crosses.

(SBI-He’s always pinching inside, and with Henry dropping into midfield more and more Richards is playing almost as a forward to fill the space. It’s not as if Richards can cross the ball so having him pinch in isn’t necessarily a bad thing.)
