Jurgen Klinsmann is now the man to help reorganize Toronto FC. The former German international was officially hired as a consultant to help the club through the hiring process of a coach and general manager.
Klinsmann and his company, SoccerSolutions, will serve as advisers to Toronto FC, working closely with Assistant General Manager Jim Brennan, and interim Director of Soccer Earl Cochrane, as the club tries to shake things up ahead of the 2011 season.
The former coach of the German national team has served in an advising role to the Los Angeles Galaxy and has offered technical guidance to the adidas Elite Soccer Program. His last role, as Bayern Munich coach, ended in 2009 when he was fired.

LE TOUX, SAN JOSE, WIN FAIR PLAY AWARDS
While he may not have played a factor in the MVP race, Philadelphia Union attacker Sebastien Le Toux won the MLS Fair Play award. The Frenchman committed just 10 fouls in his 28 starts in 2010. Coming away with the team award for Fair Play was the San Jose Earthquakes. They committed only 286 fouls all season, and were tied for the fewest cautions on the year with 40.
CHIVAS USA CEO STEPS DOWN
Heading into an offseason that will once again feature a search for a new head coach, Chivas USA CEO and President Shawn Hunter announced the he will leave his position with the Rojiblancos. While Hunter will continue to serve Chivas USA in an advisory role, his decision ends a three-year stint as the CEO of Chivas, as the club enters another break in transition.
Injured Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez believes that he will be ready to return to the field in time for next Wednesday's Manchester derby. The Argentine is currently recovering from a thigh injury in his native country.
1860 Munich forward Kenny Cooper has resumed light training as he continues to recover from a broken ankle.
Liverpool have hired former Tottenham Director of Soccer Damien Comolli as their Director of Soccer Strategy, the first major hire of the John Henry era.
Hamburg SV forward Ruud van Nistelrooy is out for a month after suffering a torn adductor muscle.
Former Chelsea and PSV striker Mateja Kezman has left Paris St. Germain after the mutual termination of his contract by the club.
