Pretty good game so far. Ronaldo once again proves he is the whiniest biotch in all of football. Come on City!
Manchester United are a goal up and a man down with about 4 minutes plus stoppage time to go. Rooney got a tap in goal back in the first half, though Park did a lot of the work to keep the ball on that play. Ronaldo got sent off for a second yellow on a really odd play where he jumped up for a ball on a corner, and just put his hands in front of his face to stop the ball.
3 goals in the Napoli-Inter game, with Inter scoring twice before Napoli ewualized 9 minutes from half time, a backheel which was taken by Lavezzi who chipped the keeper. Inter deserves the lead, and it’s in the 65th minute right now.
how can it be tied if there are 3 goals?

4th minute- Kalou played through by Deco, but was flagged for offsides, though he looked to be even with the defender.
Jozy is starting and was fed nicely on ar un down the right side. He took a nice touch into the box and had it blocked. showed nice speed and strength.
Espnsoccernet proves to be as reliable as usual when it comes to line ups.
Jozy is too strong for the La Liga defenders! He just fought of two defenders in the center of the box and laid it off to (it’s in spanish so i don’t know who) a wide open teammate who fired into side netting.
Villareal up 1-0. Jozy starting and playing really well.

So i read some where in the internet that if Jozy played this game he wasn’t going to be able to be loaned during the transfer window. Could some please tell me if its true?
Jozy is playing great. Ok it’s against the worst team in La Liga but hopefully with performances like this he will be able to get more playing time against the better teams.
I’m fine with him not being loaned – if that’s the case. He’s developing fine IMO.
He’s playing well in combo with Rossi (I will resist whining here). there’s no question he’s our (USA) number one striker. He seems most effective with a partner up top – not as a single striker. BB needs to find who to pair with him – Landon, Coop, etc..IMO it needs to be someone creative not a target guy (I love you Chingy but time to become a super sub).

we should try Jozy and Dempsey up top again. Dempsey is plenty creative and can take pressure himself. Freddy can take his spot on the right, Beasley on the left Donovan right behind Jozy and Deuce, and Bradley behind Landon.
Jozy was sprung, but he gave it away. thats the one thing he does that ching hardly ever did.
Isaac, I like that but I would like a more natural finisher paired with Jozy. I’m a huge Deuce fan but I really like him more on the outside running at people. Landon and Cooper seem to have better touch when it counts.
I’d try same players but Landon up top, Deuce on the right and Freddy behind Jozy and Landon…Tomayto – Tomahto

What a win by the Arse, even if goal 1 was offsides. Stamford Bridge is officially no longer a fortress, with 2 home losses on the season now after none for a staggering period of time.
I wish Van Persie could stay healthy, it was great to see him show his talent in a huge game. Injuries are so key, it’s amazing how thin even teams like Chelsea, Man U, and Arsenal look after a couple of guys are out.

luis, I cannot get confirmation of that. I wish (nudge nudge) that someone would follow up on that and see if there is some La Liga rule that prevents a player from being loaned if he makes six appearances. And is it 6 in La Liga, or 6 overall?
Tim – Jozy was pulled for an extra MF while up 2-0. Looks like it was for defensive tactics. Of course, they conceded right after, the best defense is Jozy running right at your defense.
Nice win for Roma today, Totti is really putting that team on his back right now. Might be too late to do anything other than make Serie A more interesting, but you have to appreciate how he steps up.
