  1. Isaac says:

Rossi has really been causing problems for the Man U defense. He’s just like Jozy, strong, quick, and clever.

  2. Matt says:

Ergh, stuck at work, missing Arsenal…

  3. Isaac says:

Ronaldo’s great strike from 20 off a layoff from Rooney is pushed onto the crossbar and out.

  4. bubba says:

Man U vs Villa has been a pretty physical game so far… Hopefully the goals start coming early in the second half…

  5. zach says:

ALTIDORE would’ve have netted a goal and VILLAREAL would have defeated UNITED today.

Should have put him on the roster today, instead of franco……or anyone for that matter. shoulda, woulda, coulda.

  6. Oranje Mike says:

    lol @ Celtic.

    Ugly kits to boot.

  7. HenrikSSW says:

I agree. Altidore’s speed and fresh legs could have added a bit of element toward the last 15mins of the game. He should have been on the bench.

  8. HenrikSSW says:

Thank god for the Great Dane-Bendtner. I was hoping Arsenal would draw, but they pulled it back.

Any chance Arsenal will improve in the CL? Who might they face in the round of 16?

  9. TorresyVilla says:

Liverpool will crush Marseille tomorrow. Keane should net a goal and so should Torres if not a hat trick. And with Benyaoun and Babel featuring even as subs, game should easily be wrapped up.

  10. Mikemike says:

Once a champion’s league roster is made, can it be changed?

Can Altidore be added on to it? Or will he have to wait till next year?

    -Mike

  11. NateinSF says:

Jozy can be added on for the knock-out rounds in the New Year.

It will be interesting to see if he makes the bench this weekend. If not, I think that points directly to a loan deal in January. As many have pointed out he can’t be loaned out if he makes another appearance for Villarreal.

  12. eric says:

I think it’s per game Mike, although if you play for another team in a CL game in a year, you can’t appear for another club. That was my take-away, I think Jozy can do just as well finishing with that midfield creating chances. Franco has 16 goals in 64 games. I’d bet the over on Altidore topping that.

Anyway, totally hate when they show ManU when even ManU doesn’t really care about the game. Couldn’t believe they’d trot out the youngsters but not play Tevez. Might as well sell him.

Much better was the Porto-Fenerbahce match won by Porto 2-1. They clinched in style, but Fenerbahce was playing with pride. I’m disappointed the revolution never came about under Aragones, they’ve taken a step backwards.

I hope Lyon put together a run this year, which has to be Benzema’s last. I’m rooting for Juninho, who’s been through it all with all the great talent developed than sold around him. I’d love to see the two of them make a run to the finals and shake up the tournament.
