SBI heading back to Jersey

Good evening folks. I’m about to take off from Dallas to Newark on the return trip from Houston and wanted to check in with you all. Apologies for the lack of afternoon posting but the commute back home has made that tough.

For those of you who haven’t seen it, here is my piece on the Red Bulls’ stunning upset of Houston for ESPN.com.

I will offer a more detailed account of the upset, and the elements that led to that result, on Tuesday. For now I am heading back home and as great as the people and BBQ were, I can’t wait to be home again.

Give my ESPN column a read and feel free to share your thoughts on the match in the comments section below.

Juan Pablo is pure class…he’s such a dedicated, responsible, and modest professional. We are truly lucky to have him on our club. Hopefully he will still be here when RBA opens.

  10. Daniel says:

Landon Donovan is heading back to Germany

News from Germany: Donovan is having a trial at Bayern and could replace Podolski who wants to leave Bayern during the winter break. Kicker magazine mentions that a loan deal and says that Klinsmann wants that move.

(kicker is a very reliable paper)

  11. Urena says:

Donovan is not a team player. He shows up when he feels like it. Way too inconsistent for a team approach like Bayern’s. Couldn’t even get the G’s into the playoffs.
